Renovating an old home to bring it into the modern era is an exciting endeavor, especially when tackling the heart of the living space. When preserving a home's historical charm while incorporating contemporary elements, carefully selecting profiles, finishes and details can strike a balance between old and new. A modern transformation in and old home should truly honor the home's roots while embracing the conveniences and aesthetics of today's living.

For our Morris project, the scope included renovating half of the first floor by removing a wall dividing the dining and kitchen spaces to create an open floor plan to allow for better flow and entertaining.
